Greetings Brothers of NYACOA,
In accordance with Article IV, section 5.5 of the New York Association of Chapters of Alpha constitution, we are pleased to issue the official Convention Call for the 35th Anniversary NYACOA/District III Convention, to be held on November 15-17, 2024. This year’s convention will be held at Iona University in New Rochelle, New York. The theme for this year’s convention is, “The Brotherhood, The Business, The Harvest". The Fraternity and its leadership ask that you attend chapter meetings, district conventions, regional conventions, and general conventions. We need to increase our value with you, especially with our college Brothers. Similarly, we are at a time in our community where, the best of the best are needed to step up their involvement as leaders, role models, and inspiring forces. We need to redefine and increase OUR relationship with the community as Alpha representatives. That is the spirit behind this year’s theme, and we are excited to present this forum for that next step. The registration fee for college Brothers will be remain under $100. In addition to our usual business sessions, competitions, and brotherhood engagement, this convention’s purpose is to introduce new ideas, out-of-the-box thinking, and foster conversations about what we can do differently to address where we are in the Fraternity, and in the community.
